Meet The Team

Eliza

Get to know the boss lady, our director, Eliza.

After breaking through the industry here in Adelaide, The Vine Hair Salon was planted and bloomed.

With 13 years experience under her hair tool belt, her eye for detail, encouragement of ultimate hair health and promoting a welcoming and warm hair styling experience are the priority for Eliza, the Vine team and for any clients at the Salon.

Similar to the rest of the team at The Vine, Eliza’s career revolves around making you feel like a million bucks, whatever that looks like to you!

But she has a soft spot for all her soon to be wifeys and their bride tribes. The most rewarding part of her work is making you and your squad look exactly like the girls in the pins on your dream day mood board, she’ll make it happen- don’t you worry.

Once she’s finished with the hair goals, you might catch her cutting shapes on the D-floor, but approach with caution.  Her graceful dance moves seriously serve Golden Retriever puppy energy, if you’re lucky you’ll catch a glimpse during your time at the salon- her second home.

Q+A:

Biggest perk of being a hairstylist?

It’s wild that we get to make people feel completely different from the moment they walk in, to the moment they walk out. All while having a laugh and listening to our favourite bangers.

If you’re not at the Salon, where would we find you?

At Marion. It’s not even a joke… it’s an illness, please send help.

What’s your dirty little secret?.

I was fired from my first hairdressing job.

How do you practice a little self love?

Get some quality time with the love of my life..Alf, my dog. Ideally with coffee in hand, sneaking in some vitamin D seeing the waves crash with friends & family.

What’s your spirit animal?

A dog. Needy, sleepy, hungry and a little bit nosey, but with good hair of course

Coffee order:

Almond latte hot or iced

There’s no better feeling than working in such a fun and happy environment. I love being able to help so many people feel like their best selves all while getting creative with coloured hair and a bangin’ style.

If you’re not at the Salon, where would we find you?

At the parents stealing dinner since nothing beats a good home cooked meal or out and about catching up with friends and at the footy with dad.

What’s your dirty little secret?

I caused an evacuation at high school but if anyone asks, it wasn’t me and I have no idea what you’re talking about.

How do you practice a little self love?

Good food and company friends until the social battery runs out then leave me to binge a new series.

What’s your spirit animal?

Rebekah – @hairby.bekahmay

Have you heard of Bekah?

Our youngest talent, our little pocket rocket that you’re going to want to watch.

With a natural pazz-az for colour, intricate colouring techniques, balayage, increasing the population of blonde baddies- the list goes on! Really, anything she puts her mind to, she kills it!

Not only does she breathe a breath of fresh air into any hair she touches, but also into the salon atmosphere. She’s our free spirited, youthful old soul who is learning and upskilling at a skyrocketing pace.

When she’s finished finessing a brand new skill, you can catch Bekah out with the girls at one of Adelaide’s many amazing watering holes or getting mud up to her knees and the worst tan lines at a festival.
